Kia America has announced that it will once again be exhibiting at Expo Electrify, the series’ final show in Austin, Texas, from November 11-13. Kia will be joined by other automakers and associated companies to discuss advanced mobility in electrification. The latest event in the series will help electrification leaders collaborate on key challenges, insights, available research and trends facing the mobility industry as it moves towards an all-electric future.
This will be the last event of the exhibition, with previous events held this summer in Long Beach, Seattle, New York and Miami. The final exhibition will take place at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas.
Kia will be displaying the EV6 and the all-new Niro EV so event-goers can get a taste of Kia’s electric lineup.
“Kia’s electrified vehicle momentum continues with the launch of the all-new second-generation Niro, which offers more refinement, versatility, connectivity and technology than ever before,” said Steven Center, COO & EVP, Kia. America. “The Niro 2023 has been designed for the needs of today and for sustainable future mobility.”
“The EV6 GT opens the next chapter in Kia’s Plan S electrification story, elevating the thrilling performance and effortless driving of the EV6 beyond expectations,” said Steven Center, Director of operations and executive vice president of Kia America. “Advancing towards our zero tailpipe emissions goals has never been more exciting.”
The EV6 is a finalist in Clean Technica2022 Car of the Year award. We expect many entrants to try it, love it, and maybe even buy one.
“Electrify Expo 2022 events provided a forum for top electrification companies and leaders to come together to share ideas and discuss how the transition to fully electrified vehicles will happen in the most seamless way possible” said Eric Watson, vice president, sales operations, Kia America. (The emphasis here on “electrified” seems a little sketchy, as it implies that we are not talking about all-electric vehicles here, but rather certain types of hybrids.)
Hot topics to be discussed at the event include legislation affecting the electric vehicle industry, range anxiety, battery materials and durability, charging infrastructure, Future of Self-Driving Applications and Supply Chain Barriers. If you visit www.electrifyexpo.com you will find a list of presenters and sessions that will be available during the event.
With a full day of programming, industry leadership and breakout sessions for the Auto and Micromobility categories, Expo Electrify 2022 has expanded its industry-facing events and education programs to provide a better look at the world of electrification.
With nearly 1,000,000 square feet of exhibit and festival space, Electrify Expo is a full day of electrifying fun mixed with great food, drink, music and more. Come drive, drive and demo your electric car, electric motorcycle, electric bicycle, electric scooter, electric skateboard and more from leading electric vehicle dealers in the USA. Visit interactive screens, chat with electric vehicle experts, learn about charging and, best of all, get a demonstration of everything! There’s something for everyone, including kids who can test drive go-karts and more in the Hover-1 Kids Zone!
