The ABC Companies announced that MTRWestern and Proterra are joining the ABC Companies Zero Emissions Tour, recognizing another important step towards emission-free travel.
As part of the tour, MTRWestern operated a 75-passenger Proterra battery-electric Van Hool TDX25E double-decker coach. By piloting the use of this coach, which can travel over 260 miles between recharges, MTRWestern provides zero-emission travel to many of its customers in the United States and Canada. The program concluded with a celebration of selected stakeholders, environmentally focused businesses and government officials, highlighting premieres for MTRWestern and the ABC Companies Zero Emissions Tour.

The partners co-sponsored a July 27 reception in Seattle where guests had the opportunity to network and learn more about the tour and how MTRWestern uses the zero-emission Van Hool TDX25E in regular fleet operations on both sides of the Canada-US border. .
